How the review works
A structured review process, without the friction
- A member submits their path for review when ready. An admin allocates one or more reviewers from the institution.
- Each reviewer works independently through the criteria — reading the claims and evidence alongside them — leaving feedback and a recommendation.
- Feedback reaches the member alongside their actual work, attributed anonymously to a “Reviewer” — review is blind, and reviewers don't see each other's comments.
- The admin makes the final decision and sees aggregate progress across the cohort — never the detail of an individual's portfolio.

Privacy & security
Your portfolio is yours, and it’s protected
Path holds sensitive professional work, so security isn’t an afterthought — it’s built into how the app is structured and run.
- Two-factor authentication. Add a code from an authenticator app at sign-in, so a leaked password alone can’t open your account.
- Private by default. Database row-level security means one person’s portfolio can never be read by another. Your content is yours until you choose to share it.
- Encrypted & EU-hosted. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in the European Union (Supabase, Ireland).
- Trusted infrastructure. Deployed on Vercel over HTTPS throughout, with security headers and dependency scanning.

Redact sensitive details before they’re ever uploaded
Evidence in health and education often carries things that shouldn’t be stored — a patient’s name on a reflection, a colleague’s face in a photo, a signature on a form. Path lets you deal with that yourself, in the browser, before anything is sent.
- Blur what matters. Drag over faces, names, or identifiers and they’re blurred into the image itself — not merely hidden. You choose what goes, so there’s no automatic detection to quietly miss something.
- Nothing un-redacted leaves your device. Blurring, rotating, and cropping all happen in your browser — the only version that reaches Path is the one you’ve already cleaned up.
- A nudge at the right moment. A consent reminder appears wherever you add a photo, prompting you to check permissions and strip identifiers you don’t need.
