What Path changes
For professionals
Most of us do far more development than we ever write down. A conversation that changed how you supervise, a case you talked through with a colleague, a course you went on in March: by the time an appraisal or a promotion application asks for evidence, much of it has gone. Path gives that work somewhere to land as it happens, mapped to the standards you’re working towards, so when the moment comes you’re choosing what to include.

Organisations put a lot of time and money into developing their people, and usually see it only as attendance records and appraisal forms. With Path you see, in aggregate, where your people are building strength against the standards you care about and where support would help next. Nobody is named unless they choose to share their path, and each portfolio stays its owner’s.

Before an appraisal
The year’s work is already in one place, mapped to your standards, with the thinner areas showing as the things to talk about next.
Applying for a fellowship or promotion
Map what you’ve done to the criteria, see which ones need more, and export a Word draft to edit before you submit.
If the HCPC selects you for a CPD audit
Export your activities and statements in the four sections of the HCPC’s CPD profile, as a starting point to finish in your own words.
When your direction changes
A new role or a new framework doesn’t mean starting again. The evidence you’ve recorded can count towards the next path too.
What you end up with
When the moment comes, Path exports a Word document you can edit and submit. A general portfolio puts what you select in the order you choose. An HCPC CPD profile follows the HCPC’s four sections, with your activities dated and listed and your claims and reflections forming the personal statement.
The words are yours. Path arranges what you’ve written and never writes the statement for you, which is also what the HCPC asks of a profile.
