About Path (alpha)

What is the current status of Path?

Path is in alpha. It is being developed and tested in a small, closed, invitation-only pilot. Features are being added and refined based on what testers find. Some things will be incomplete, change unexpectedly, or break. Alpha users should export their work periodically as a precaution.

Who can sign up?

Path is invite-only for individuals — there's no public sign-up form; accounts are given out directly, one person at a time. If you're not already part of the pilot, join the waiting list and we'll be in touch, whether that's an invite to try it now or a notification when it opens more widely.

Is Path available for organisations, not just individuals?

Yes. Universities, NHS trusts, professional bodies and membership schemes use Path to get an anonymous, aggregate picture of how their people are developing — coverage against the frameworks that matter, without seeing anyone's individual content unless they choose to share it. An organisation can also author and revise a framework of its own, alongside the ones Path already carries.

Individual use is free either way. Institutional pricing hasn't been finalised yet — get in touch to talk about what that could look like for your organisation.

Is my data private and secure?

Path is private by default — database-level row security means one person's portfolio can never be read by another, and nothing about an individual is visible to their organisation unless they explicitly choose to share it. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the EU (Ireland), with two-factor authentication available on every account.

How do I get in touch, or leave feedback?

Not signed up yet? Use the contact page to reach the developer directly, or join the waiting list for early access or a notification at launch. Already part of the pilot? Feedback and contact tools are built into the app itself, from your profile menu.
